Proud to Build

Oasis at Freeman Farms 098At Fulton Homes, we’re proud of our role in Arizona as Arizona’s largest family-owned and operated homebuilder. Our strengths come from a long commitment to quality homes designed for you, a history of giving back to our community, and neighborhoods that stand the test of time.

From choosing locations that provide easy access to other parts of the Valley to creating neighborhoods with amenities that make the space more appealing for our homeowners long after we have finished building, our goal is to build homes and neighborhoods that will be there for the long haul. We’re proud of how our developments last over time.

HRM0416The Fulton Homes team works hard to ensure that our floorplans suit a variety of needs with a flexible approach so that your home can evolve as your family does. For example, our single-story homes with super-size garages allow you to find space for your child’s car. Later as empty nesters you can convert that extra space to house a hobby. Single-story homes also help to support aging in place.

Over the years we’ve determined those options that most people want in their homes and now include them as standard features. Some of the extras that help us build your ideal home include:

  • Granite Countertops
  • 36″ Maple Cabinets
  • 2″ Faux Wood Blinds throughout home
  • Ceiling fans in all bedrooms, dens and family rooms
  • Taller baseboards
  • 18″ Ceramic Tile in Kitchens, Bathrooms and Laundry Rooms
  • We welcome you to visit any one of our communities. We’re proud of our selection of home designs and planned neighborhoods and we look forward to creating the home of your dreams; a home you can be proud to own.

Your Home’s First Impression

Front entry photoWould you like a front entryway for your home that is this welcoming? The Fulton Homes Tehama Model shown above offers an inviting courtyard-style space to introduce guests to your home before they even step inside. People arrive at first impressions of people in seconds, and the same goes for homes. Your guests may form an opinion of your home – and you – even before you open your door to them.

At Fulton Homes we help you and your home make a good first impression – one that demonstrates your taste and sense of style. With our rich selection of exterior doors and hardware, we can create a front entrance unique to you.

Front entry photo 2The photo on the right shows just a few of the doors available to you at the Fulton Design Center. We set each of them in a frame so that you can both look and experience each door as it opens.

By providing a choice of wood, stain and design your front door can reflect your personality – and create a link to your choice of home style and design. Are you drawn to a rustic look? Then consider one of our strongly-presented doors with straightforward rubbed bronze hardware. If you want a classic feel, consider the oak paneled door on the right front of the photo above with a curved satin nickel handle that provides an established, traditional look.

At Fulton Homes we know all of our buyers want homes as individual as they are, and we believe that the best place to start is your own front door.

A Backyard that Fits your Needs AND Wants!

Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing 008A dramatic water feature shown under construction for the Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing was recently completed, making this backyard patio more appealing and serving as a focal point for entertaining. Three separate fountains create a powerful background sound as well as providing a strong visual impact. Would you want this type of water effect in your backyard?

The location enables homeowners to enjoy the fountains both inside and outside the house, and using a combination of rock and stone allows this piece to remain eye-catching even when the water is not running. The rock-covered ledge in front delivers the perfect location for sitting and maybe even soaking tired toes in the water.

The stone patio looks roomy enough for an outdoor dining table as well as a casual seating arrangement. Certainly an outdoor kitchen with a grill would be a nice addition. What special features would you add to this backyard?

Now that summer is almost over in the Phoenix area, people plan to enjoy the outdoors by scheduling everything from parties to family dinners outside. How would you like to take full advantage of your yard to encourage family and friends to spend time there?

Maybe you would enjoy a comfy lounge chair designed to relax in the evening after work. Could a small bistro table and a couple of chairs just large enough to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning suit you better? The Right Kitchen for You

Design Center 009Tell me about the right kitchen for you. Will it be contemporary and dramatic like the one above? Are you drawn to this dark cabinetry and crisp light granite? Would you enjoy pendant lights over your island similar to the ones in the photo above or would you rather have the shaded lights in the photo below?

When you walk into the Fulton Design Center, check out the kitchen vignettes including the originals of these photos. But don’t just look. Pop open drawers and cabinets, turn knobs on appliances, walk around the islands and look up at the lights. Fulton’s vignettes are designed to give you a good idea of the features and style you want in your own home.

Design Center 016From a functional standpoint, would you like bookshelves built into your island to hold favorite cookbooks? Or maybe you prefer the opportunity to provide kitchen seating for quick breakfasts or as a place for the kids to do homework nearby while you fix dinner.

While you’re at it, take a look at how the different styles of granite work in each kitchen. With a Fulton Home, granite is standard so you don’t have to worry about budget issues to get this appealing stone look.

Would you like a stainless refrigerator or do you prefer a facing to match your cabinets? And speaking of cabinets, be sure to get the feel for your options for wood, finish and style. The Fulton Design Center offers a rich selection for your perfect kitchen, all with a focus on beauty and quality of construction.

Fulton’s Design Center Approach

Carpet Design Center 057A good design center creates just the right environment to help you make your dream home come to life. Let’s take a look at some of the good decisions that make the Fulton Design Center a great resource when you buy your new Fulton home.

Updated options and vignettes: As new products come on the home market, the Fulton team reviews them and determines what will best serve the needs of Fulton’s customers. Quality, value, reliability and style all combine to make your selection process easier and more rewarding.

At the same time, as products lose their appeal they are phased out or replaced with new more-updated options. This ensures that the spacious Fulton Design Center can showcase the choices that will prove to be the most valuable for you and your family.

Opportunities to browse: With so many choices, it would be hard to make all of your home decisions on the spot. So Fulton Homes offers two browse nights every month – on the first and third Thursday evenings. With designers there to provide insights and answer questions, you can take your time exploring your choices in a no-pressure environment. Fulton Home’s online design also provides chances to review many of your options and make some preliminary selections.

Skilled designers: Your personal designer will help you make the right decisions for your home. Their experience with many other homes and homeowners will stand you in good stead when you need information or advice. Our designers are trained to help make the decision process easy and fun.

When you choose your new Fulton Home, everyone at the Fulton Design Center will do everything possible to help you make it the home you’ve always dreamed about. We look forward to seeing you!

Fulton Home’s Noon Salute

noonsaluteThe team at Fulton Homes is proud to build homes here in the United States.

In honor of our nation and those who serve it, Fulton Homes and 94.5 KOOL FM offer an opportunity for Valley high school bands to represent their schools by demonstrating their skills and their patriotism on the air. The Fulton Homes Noon Salute on 94.5 KOOL FM gives local high school bands a chance to play the national anthem on the radio.

Every day at noon, 94.5 KOOL FM pays tribute to our country and our troops by playing of “The Star Spangled Banner” for its listeners. School bands can audition by sending a recording of their version of “The Star Spangled Banner” on a CD to the radio station. Individuals from Fulton Homes and 94.5 KOOL FM will listen to each CD and pick the best performances. Three schools will be featured every month, with the top submission for the month awarded a $1,000 donation to their music department from Fulton Homes. That school’s version will re-air on 94.5 KOOL FM.

The Fulton Homes Noon Salute recognizes high school musicians and their hard work and dedication to their musical studies, as well as the teachers who develop their talents.

Guest Room Comfort

Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing 027When you stay at someone’s house, what special features make the guest room memorable? The first and best thing a guest room can offer is comfort. After a day of sight-seeing or socializing with friends or family, it’s a pure pleasure to sink into a bed with a good mattress and a nice selection of pillows. This bed provides extra coziness with the plush bedcovering and plenty of pillows in all shapes and sizes – enough to prop your back against if you want to read in bed.

Have you thought about what guest room amenities you would appreciate? This room, from the Fulton Homes Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing, offers a nice desk with a comfy chair in case you want to check email on your laptop, phone or tablet. Selecting a transparent desk and lamp keeps them unobtrusive while still functional.

A ceiling fan helps visitors from more temperate climates handle our hot summers in Arizona. And choosing carpet for the flooring will be appreciated by guests who forget their slippers.

To make your guest room more inviting, how about fresh flowers, several books or magazines for reading or just browsing through before bed, a few favorite snacks and some space in the closet for hanging clothes that wrinkle easily. Welcome your guests with a few little touches – if possible tailoring those special features to the personality and preferences of your guest.

So spend some time thinking about what you want in a guest room when visiting, and apply those thoughts to your own guest space. You’ll find that welcome guests enjoy their stay and will visit again.

Home Office with Style

Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing 001With a home office, style can be just as important or even more important than function. As an integral part of your home, office space should appeal to the same aesthetic that you use in the rest of your home. Colors, furniture, accessories and lighting need to work for your projects while still presenting the feeling you want your home to convey.

This home office, from the Fulton Homes Corsica model at Ironwood Crossing, comes into view the minute you walk into the home. If your home’s first impression occurs with your home office, more than ever you want it to represent your style.

Take a look at the different ways this home office sends a message about the homeowner. The desk has strong modern lines, and positioning it facing front makes it even more powerful. The cabinet set behind the desk allows files, papers and office supplies to stay hidden, maintaining a home-like feel even if it is a fully-functional office.

The old-fashioned leather wing chair on the left provides a touchstone of tradition, as well as providing a comfortable seat for a guest. By having this chair behind the desk rather than in the front, the homeowner can chat with a visitor and the desk is off to the side rather than serving as a barrier.

Accessories and art demonstrate a contemporary flair, and colors stay neutral with the exception of the two glass vases on the window between the home office and the living room. Low maintenance plants add a note of warmth.

Functional and livable, this home office can serve multiple purposes while helping to contribute to the comfort and style of this Fulton Home.

Smart Shower Design

Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing 030What do you look for in a shower? Would you like space, a certain kind of shower head, lighting, style or ease of use? Take a look at this shower, from the Fulton Homes Corsica Model at Ironwood Crossing. This spacious shower seems designed to meet every desire.

Let’s start with the finish – marble rectangle tiles create a rich and inviting setting for morning or evening scrubs. The glittery mosaic of glass and metallic tiles running across at just under eye level add a welcome sparkle that works well with the brushed nickel finish on the faucets and shower heads.

The choice of clear glass for the wall and door keep the room feeling spacious, and the half-step into the shower ensures that water is under control in spite of the ease of entry. Notice the double option for your shower: a standard wall-mounted shower head combined with a convenient and flexible hand-held choice with a mounted handle that can be adjusted to a particular height. With only minimal adjustments, this shower could work well for someone with limited mobility.

By using glass block for the window, natural light comes into the room while still maintaining privacy. It’s also nice to have a towel rack handy just outside the shower while still within the framework of the shower space, keeping towels dry but providing easy access.

Notice just a couple more things – a perfect place for shampoo and soap positioned in the wall, and a small seat for convenience yet designed not to interfere with the shower itself. A lot of thought went into this shower’s design. How would it fit into your dream home?
